The programme is suitable for graduates of any discipline who, for professional or personal reasons, wish to secure a stand-alone qualification in management. It is also ideal for those who wish to undertake postgraduate work and whose first degree is in an unrelated field. It aims to provide a thorough grounding in the principles of management while developing critical skills for a wide range of real world professional situations.

El Plan de estudios tiene una duración de un año. Comprende 4 cursos. Todos deben ser cursados y aprobados en la Universidad de Palermo (sede Barrio Norte) en idioma inglés y requieren rendir un examen adicional ante la Universidad de Londres, en el British Council, en Buenos Aires.

Los estudios comienzan en el mes de agosto de cada año y finalizan en mayo del año siguiente. Cada asignatura se cursa una vez por semana en el turno mañana (8 a 11.20 hs).


Cursos que componen el programa:

Business and management in a global context 
The course provides an introduction to business and management with particular emphasis on their international dimension.

Core management concepts 
The course covers the main areas of general management and the intellectual foundations of management concepts. It is the basis upon which more specialised functional management courses can be taken.

Human resource management
This course is about Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies, policies and practices. It examines the approach taken by commercial firms and other organisations to recruit, retain and motivate their employees.

Principles of marketing
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of marketing and marketing management. The approach taken in this course will enable students to gain a broad understanding of the theoretical and practical issues surrounding marketing decision making.

What academic requirements do students need to meet to be eligible for admission?

Students must meet both Universidad de Palermo and University of London admissions requirements.

    To be eligible for this Diploma for Graduates programme you must:


    • • hold a full first degree from an awarding institution acceptable to the University of London and demonstrate competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to UK GCSE/GCE 'O' level at grade C or above.

Language Requirements

The language of instruction, reading and assessment is English. To succeed on our programmes you need a good level of competence in English. If you doubt your ability in written or spoken English we advise you take a course and test in English language before enrolling on the programme.




Required standard of English

You will usually meet the English language requirement for undergraduate programmes if you:

  • • hold a UK GCSE / GCE O level in English at grade C or above

  • • have five years secondary schooling taught solely in English or have passed GCE A levels or IB in essay-based subjects

  • • have passed an International Foundation programme that permits entry onto a recognised UK bachelor degree

  • • hold a full Postgraduate award, or a full first degree or Associate degree taught and examined in English from an institute that is acceptable to the University

  • • have passed, within the past three years, an Associate degree, Diploma or Higher Diploma awarded by an acceptable institute / polytechnic / university in Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore, or have passed, within the past three years, a test of proficiency in English language from an organisation acceptable to the University.

Where an applicant does not meet the required English language level but believes they can demonstrate the required level for admission the University may, at its discretion, consider the application.



Please note if an applicant satisfies one of the above conditions yet provides evidence of a test of proficiency in English language, awarded within the past three years, which is below the University’s minimum requirements then they will be required to retake such a test before being offered admission.

  2. • El Diploma for Graduates in Management de University of London, con el liderazgo académico de London School of Economics and Political Science.

Requerimientos para la graduación


La Universidad de Londres exige aprobar los exámenes de los cursos en inglés del plan de estudios. Se rinden en el British Council, en Buenos Aires.



Aranceles


El estudiante se inscribe a dos programas simultáneos de dos instituciones diferentes y debe abonar el arancel correspondiente a cada uno de ellos. Los pagos se realizan por separado. Los aranceles de cada universidad podrán variar en el tiempo de acuerdo a la evolución de los costos.
