Energy harvesting using piezoelectric elements

Project started in 2015. It covers technologies to capture and store the residual energy present in the environment like solar, wind, thermal, and mechanical.

We are currently working in the use of the residual energy of people transit, with electro-mecanical and piezoelectric systems, and in the energy storage with capacitors.

Project objectives:
• Development of a piezoelectric transducer to harvest the residual energy of footsteps.
• Development of a piezoelectric transducer to harvest wind energy.
